Reflections from Arctic Game Dev & What’s Next for Dew
Our time at the Arctic Game Dev Conference this February was an incredible experience. We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback from gamers, investors, and publishers alike. It was both humbling and energizing to hear that so many people are excited about Dew. That validation gave us exactly what we needed at this stage: a clear sign that we’re on the right track and should stay true to our creative vision.
The event also opened doors to several valuable new connections across the industry, which we’re truly grateful for.
Since then, we’ve been working hard, balancing development of Dew alongside a demanding full-time job that’s currently entering a critical phase. While this has made it challenging to move at the pace we’d like, we’ve still made important behind-the-scenes decisions that will shape the project’s direction going forward. Not all progress is visible on the surface, but it’s happening.
Looking ahead, our goal is to transition to working full-time on Dew. When that happens, we plan to document our journey and share updates in a much more engaging way beyond just blog posts like this.
Next up: we’re heading to Nordic Game in Malmö, May 20–23!
Thanks to the generous support from Arctic Game, we’ll have our very own demo booth. It’s a fantastic opportunity, and yes, a bit stressful too. We’re aware our current prototype isn’t quite where we want it to be and is still missing several key features. But we’re excited to showcase what we have, and more importantly, to meet and connect with even more amazing people in the games industry.
Thanks for being part of our journey.
Dew is growing, and we can’t wait to show you more!
