Our goal is a focused team of ten to twenty people, making heartfelt games with stunning visuals and gameplay that just feels right in your hands.

Careers
Help us keep the toaster burning.
When you work at MVRX, you’ll be part of a small, experienced team in central Umeå. You’ll work closely with the people around you, contribute ideas and help shape the games we make. We value open conversations, shared knowledge and trust in each other’s craft.
We offer competitive salaries based on your role, experience and responsibilities, alongside wellness benefits and employee insurance. Our project-based profit-sharing system also gives you the opportunity to share in the financial success of the games you help create.
That approach starts with recruitment. Our system anonymizes applications during the initial review to help reduce bias and focus on your skills and work. We want people of all genders, ages and backgrounds to have a fair opportunity to join us.

Don't see your role? Tell us who you are. This is also the way to apply for an internship.
We keep this simple. This site has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and the only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us. MVRX Hub, where the partners we invite sign in, works a little differently and is described further down.
MVRX Games AB is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at .
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you pick and your message. Nothing is collected when you simply browse the site.
Like all web hosts, our host one.com keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses and the time of a visit, to keep the site running and secure.
We use what you send only to read and reply to your message. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We never sell your data or use it for marketing.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a service that forwards your message to our inbox. Our email provider stores the message after that. Both only process it to deliver and store it for us.
We keep messages as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and delete them after that, at the latest two years after our last contact with you.
You can ask us what data we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Just email us. If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.

When you apply through our jobs page, we receive what you choose to send: your name, email, phone and city, your answers about roles, experience, location, start, work permit, languages, tools and platforms, your salary expectation, links, cover letter and files. We use it only to handle your application. Our legal basis is that you asked us to consider you for a job, and our interest in a fair and documented recruitment.
Only the people at MVRX who recruit can see your application. We assess candidates against the requirements of the role, and the people assessing do so independently. We never ask for or assess age, gender, ethnicity, religion, health or family situation, and no automated decision or AI is used. Files are stored in our Google Workspace in the EU and US under Google's data processing terms.
We keep an application for a specific role for up to two years after the recruitment has ended, and an open application for six months. If you tick the talent pool box, we keep your application for two years from that day so we can contact you about future roles. That is optional, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we save your email address, when you signed up and when you confirmed. We only send newsletters after you have confirmed by email, and only about MVRX and our games. Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe, and when you unsubscribe we delete your address. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 14 days. Our legal basis is your consent.
If you join one of our playtests, we save your name, email, when you agreed to the confidentiality terms and your feedback. We use it to run the playtest, keep track of the agreement and improve the game. Only the MVRX team sees it, and we delete it two years after the playtest ends. Our legal basis is the agreement you accept and our interest in improving our games.
MVRX Hub (mvrx-games.com/hub) is where our publisher, consultants and other partners we invite find our marketing material, wiki and Show & Tell presentations. Only people we invite can sign in, with their Google account through Sign in with Google. Google tells us your name and email address; we never see your password.
MVRX Hub is the only part of this site that stores anything in your browser: your sign-in session, your display filters and your recently viewed files, so the hub works the way you left it. Signing in loads Google’s sign-in service, which is covered by Google’s own privacy policy. Nothing is stored before you choose to sign in, and signing out removes your session.
For each invited person we save the name, email address, company, role and projects, and when you last visited. When you use MVRX Hub we also save the comments, mentions and material requests you write, the edits you make and the files you upload, so that we and your colleagues can see them. Your stars and collections are saved too, but only you can see them. Your session, display filters and recently viewed files are kept only in your own browser, not with us.
Others with access to the same project can see your name next to your comments and edits, and can mention you, which sends you an email. Show & Tell presentations and recordings may show members of the MVRX team.
We use this to share material with our partners and to work on it together. Our legal basis is our and our partners’ legitimate interest in that collaboration. The information is stored in Google Workspace, which may process it in the EU and the US. Your stars and collections are deleted when your access ends, and your contact details one year after that. Comments stay with the file they belong to. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, at linus@mvrx-games.com.
Images on our game pages are served from Google Drive. Trailers come from YouTube, but nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
You can withdraw your application and delete your information at any time with the link in our confirmation email, or by writing to us. You also have the right to access and correct your information, and to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
